✓ = yes · — = no / none · ? = not documented · ✗ = dogs banned from at least part of the park. The operator's exact wording rides along with each row — hover a cell on a desktop, read it on the card on a phone. Park names link to the source.

What “bag station” means here (and what it doesn't)

  • Confirmed (4) — the operator's own primary source (a Parks & Rec page, an ordinance, a town report) says a bag dispenser is there.
  • Claimed (unverified) (2) — only third-party listing sites say so. That's a lead worth a phone call, never a citation.
  • Not documented (63) — primary sources are silent. This is the default, and it is a statement about our sources, not about the park.

There is deliberately no “none” here. No town publishes an inventory of the stations it doesn't have, so from a desk, “we couldn't find one” and “there isn't one” are the same sentence — and they are not the same fact. Plenty of “not documented” parks probably do have a barrel and a dispenser. Probably isn't a citation. Either way the advice doesn't change: bring your own bag.

What we couldn't verify

41 of 69 parks carry an open question the web can't answer. Each one is a phone call, and here's who to call. If you know an answer, tell us and we'll update the row.
